…i finished my last semester of college this week which means i’m a free woman (eh at least for the next three months). i’m going on vacation to florida with my family in a week and that is all i can think about for the moment. every thought ends with me calculating the days until i’ll be sitting on the beach ;) until then i’ll be sorting out clothes that i can wear in the warmer weather!

…you know that one pair of shoes that you continue to wear almost daily even though you have tons of other shoes…that’s me and these zara heels. i’m sorry i’m posting them again so soon, i may have a slight obsession ;) …my dad has been wearing denim shirts forever so when he found out i bought one he was beaming with pride (quite literally). every time he sees me wear the shirt he gives me a thumbs up followed up by the that’s-my-girl look. he’s a simple guy, his wardrobe consists of denim, camouflage, plaid and the occasional bright orange reflective shirts. he’s happy to see his little girl finally catching on….

…i want to thank all of my new followers and fellow bloggers for all the comments and likes i received in the past few days, i appreciate them so much! i will try my best to respond to them all as soon as i can :) …there are not many trendy little shops where i live so when i saw this new store at the mall i quite literally smiled ear-to-ear as i scanned the racks. my first purchase from the store was this retro dress, which i love….

…i hope everyone had an awesome easter! it’s been another fun-filled-school-work-sick-crazy week. it felt so good to have nothing to do except go to church (which i adore) and show up to dinner on time (im ignoring the homework waiting for me for the moment). as for my outfit, i am in love with this shade of green and the flow-y light material was a nice change from all the layers i’ve been piling on to keep warm…

…spring is finally here! taking full advantage of the nice weather, my beautiful friend and i made a day trip to the red lion inn in stockbridge, ma. walking through the small town visiting small shops and eating our favorite lunch was a fun way to finish out our not-so-cold winter…
